If this issue still exists in a supported series, please file a new bug. Bug Watch Updater bug-watch-updater on Device not found when starting guvcview, Skype, cheese etc. To reopen the bug, click on the current status under the Status column and change the status back to “New”.
It is Fedora’s policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. The microscope is ipassiln recognized by the UVC driver and I have not tried any other driver or hack or patch yet.

Sat Feb 27 That search also finds a couple other folks who are trying to get this web cam working under Linux, without success. But still no luck.
This bug affects 4 people. Works fine in Windows though: It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.
