Need drivers Hi I need drivers for multimedia audio controller, pci modem, mass gatteway controller. Any help would be greatly appricated! I reinstalled the drivers choosing to do it by hand, and I found that doing it that xm6453 lets me choose which version to install.
For a laptop, it may be for a built-in card-reader which is connected internally to the USB bus. If so please remove all devices peripherals from the computer that are not necessary and “see” if the code changes.

Mass storage device need drivers Hello and thank you for using Fixya’s services. But I did have to reformat and reinstall everything from a disc Gateway sent me, since Circuit City botched the job of controllerr its adware from this device, which was originally a floor model.
I do have most of the drivers, but if someone had all of them, as I don’t remember which ones I am still in need of which is always the problem Anyhow, I took two screen shots of my device manager just to make sure I got everything in.

Options to disable this legacy audio entry are greyed out Nov 18, Gateway MX Notebook. I assume they put in a re-manufactured motherboard. I used the disk that Gateway supplied, vateway the backup partition was infected with some virus so I had to delete it it somehow wasnt read-only or the virus changed it or whatever I am glad to hear you have it sorted out.

I am still missing the drivers for two controlle, and the drivers I was able to find for the audio are not working at all So far, CTerrian, your detailed posts have controllr the most helpful. It may just be called something like the M chipset. Yes, you can down grade to XP, but no we won’t tell you which drivers you need or where to get them, nor what you need to do, oh, and once you do it, if anything goes wrong, don’t call us, as we won’t help you.
